Grantham brings the Eastman community, where a large number of similar-vintage houses and condos hit the same repairs at the same time: decks and railings, sliders and doors, appliances and weather-side trim. Plenty of those owners are not in the state full time, which means the job includes being someone who can act without being watched.
Springfield and Plainfield are the opposite — wooded lots and working acreage where the list runs to driveways, drainage, brush and keeping equipment running.
